BASIIMACRAFTS LTD – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE
These Terms & Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all purchases of products made from Basiima Crafts Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order with Basiima Crafts Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. FORMATION OF CONTRACT
Your order represents an offer to purchase products from BasiimaCrafts Ltd. Once an order is placed, you will receive an Order Confirmation acknowledging that we have received your request. This does not constitute acceptance of the order.
A binding contract is formed only when your order has been dispatched and you receive a Dispatch Confirmation email. If your order is sent in multiple shipments, each dispatch constitutes a separate sales contract for the products in that shipment.
You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch, unless the product is personalised or falls under a non-cancellable category described in Section 2.
We may provide invoices electronically.
2. RIGHT TO CANCEL (STATUTORY 14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD)
Your Right to Cancel
You may cancel your order within 14 days from the day you (or a nominated person) receive your goods. To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly by email or in writing, including your order details.
You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation. You are responsible for return postage costs.
Refunds
Upon receiving the returned goods or proof of return, we will refund payments made for the order, including standard delivery costs. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
We may reduce refunds if returned goods show signs of use or damage beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functionality.
Exceptions (Items that Cannot Be Cancelled or Returned)
The right to cancel does not apply to:
Personalised, custom-made, or made-to-order items
Sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons once opened
Goods that are inseparable from other items due to mixing after delivery
Digital content once download or access has begun
Goods that may deteriorate quickly (e.g., perishable items)
3. VOLUNTARY RETURNS POLICY
In addition to your statutory rights, BasiimaCrafts Ltd offers a 30-day voluntary returns option for most items, provided:
The product is in unused, unopened, and undamaged condition
Original packaging is intact
Items are returned at the buyer’s cost
We may reject returns or deduct part of the refund for goods that are not returned in their original condition.
This voluntary guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
4. PRICING & PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All prices listed include applicable UK taxes (e.g., VAT).
We aim to keep product availability accurate, but availability is not guaranteed. If an item becomes unavailable, we will notify you and you will not be charged for that item.
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
In the rare event of a pricing error:
If the correct price is higher, we will contact you for confirmation before dispatch or cancel the order.
If the correct price is lower, we will charge the lower price and dispatch your order.
5. PRODUCT INFORMATION
Unless stated otherwise, BasiimaCrafts Ltd is the manufacturer of the products sold.
We take care to ensure product information and images are accurate, but product descriptions, colours, packaging, or materials may vary slightly.
For products such as cosmetics, skincare, or food items, always read labels, warnings, and instructions before use. We do not provide medical guidance.
6. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS & CUSTOMS
For orders delivered outside the UK:
You may be responsible for import duties, customs fees, and taxes once the item arrives in the destination country.
Any such charges must be paid by the customer.
Customs regulations vary by region; please check with your local authority.
Cross-border packages may be opened or inspected by customs officials.
7. LIABILITY
BasiimaCrafts Ltd is not responsible for:
Losses not caused by our negligence
Business losses (e.g., loss of income, profits, contracts, data, or goodwill)
Indirect or unforeseeable loss
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
We are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts. Consumers in other jurisdictions retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws in their country of residence.
9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The Terms in effect at the time of your order will apply to that purchase.
10. SEVERABILITY
If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
11. WAIVER
If we do not enforce a particular right or provision under these Terms, it does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
12. AGE RESTRICTIONS
We do not sell goods to persons under 18. Children may only purchase products under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
13. GOVERNING LANGUAGE
These Terms & Conditions are written in English.
